I am really highly pleased. I studied the subject for years before I bought a router, plus having worked in a commercial cabinet shop with multiples of them for years as well. I thought I knew something about it. But I have learned more in a month, having the router and watching the parts come out, from Cookbook than all my previous study.
I also purchased the MeshCAM bundle with it. I can say Mesh is exactly as advertised. It's about the fastest and easiest way there is to get up and cutting parts. Now-- from my mighty perspective of a month's use-- I could wish it was more flexible. Perhaps it is because I have spent a good bit of time with the programmers at work, but I really want better control over the toolpath than Mesh affords me, at least on some jobs. I am glad I bought it and would do the same again even knowing what I know. But I can see, for at least some work, it will not be the last CAM program I buy.
